an invitation

Carol and I have been friends since English class in 1999. She thought I was funny and I thought she was funny. We had sleepovers and played lousy pranks on our friends. She cried during Steel Magnolias and I tried to but couldn't. She liked Mountain Dew and I liked Reese's Puffs. One time, sitting on her front stoop, she graciously analyzed my terrible, overly symbolic, Chagall-esque painting. We ended up at the same college where I was her RA and she was my basketball coach. We shared an apartment after graduation until her wedding day and we now live 80 miles apart. She is having her first child in September. This is the invitation I made for her baby shower.

The detail on them is excellent.

Thanks for sharing.
